Lapel pins recently made television history … or rather we were reminded of some lapel pin history on the popular History Channel show “Pawn Stars”. A customer, and former Olympic athlete, had brought in a pre-event screening pin he was given during the summer games. Pin trading has been a popular activity for many years. Curling clubs from the mid nineteenth century are credited with starting the tradition.
