National Parks Lapel Pins: Summer Camp Lapel Pins

National.Parks.Summer.Camp.Lapel.PinsSummer is here, and you might be thinking about Yosemite, or El Capitan.  The good people at Apple Computer probably are … and I know they’re looking forward to Sierra. Perhaps they were reminding us to take a little respite from the office and get back to nature when they named the last three versions of Mac OSX .

It’s 77º in Vermont and the time is right for fishing out on Lake Champlain, competing in a local or national fishing tournament ( Vermont was fortunate to host part of the FLW Bass Tournament  series just last weekend ) taking a much deserved hike in the woods, trail running, mountain biking and camping with the family in National and State Parks all across the country.

Our National Park System started in 1872 when Yellowstone was established as America’s first National Park. Franklin Roosevelt sweetened the pot when he set up the Civilian Conservation Corps in 1933, as part of “The New Deal” to work on creating both State and National Parks all across the country. Whether you live on the east coast, the west coast, or somewhere in between there is a state or national park close by for your next summer adventure. Thank you President Roosevelt!

PinCrafters is proud to continue our work with summer camps, state and national parks, and outdoor gear companies such as L.L. Bean that help us all take a break from the responsibilities of school and office life for an adventure in the great outdoors.
