It is no surprise that many non-profits use custom lapel pins for acknowledgment, fund raising and thanks. Recently there was an article showing how the patriotic lapel pins are used to encourage awareness about what our wonderful troops sacrifice to protect us.
Northern Oklahoma College will sponsor a veterans’ reception on Friday.
Everyone is welcome to attend the event, which is being held to honor local veterans. Light refreshments will be provided and patriotic lapel pins will be given away while supplies last.
Veterans attending will receive certificates of appreciation for their military service. Also, someone will be available to answer questions about veterans’ education benefits.
